NARL JRF & Other Posts Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should possess Post Graduate degree in the following subjects Physics / Atmospheric Science / Space Physics /
  Meteorology / Earth System Sciences / Geophysics / Remote Sensing / Applied Chemistry with Physics / Atmospheric Science / Space Physics / Meteorology as major subject.
• M.E./M.Tech degree should be with an aggregate minimum of 60% (average of all semesters) or equivalent CGPA/CPI grading from the recognized university
• Ph.D. degree/M.E / M. Tech Degree /B.E/ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering in First class with an aggregate
  minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA/CPI from a recognized university/ institutions.

Age Limit

• JRF: 28 Years of age
• Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’: Maximum 35 Years
• Scientist/Engineer ‘SC”: Maximum 30 Years

Salary

• Scientist/Engineer ‘SD -Basic Pay – Rs.67700/- P.M. in L – 11 (Rs.67700 – 208700/-) Plus TA and HRA as admissible
• Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ -Basic Pay – Rs.56100/- P.M. in L – 10 (Rs.56100 – 177500/-) Plus TA and HRA as admissible
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Fellowship Amount : For 1st & 2nd years Rs.37,000/- per month For the subsequent years Rs.42,000/- per month
