UPSC Civil Service Syllabus 2023: Union Public Service Commission has officially published the Civil Services Examination Notice no. 05/2023-CSP Regarding the examination details about Eligibility, OTR File, application, receipt, etc. According to the UPSC Civil Service Notice 2023, Written Exam and Interview will be conducted for recruiting the candidates. The exam will be conducted in two stages as Preliminary and Main . A preliminary exam will be held on 23 may 2023. Now, UPSC CIvil Service Syllabus has been released.
Applicants who are preparing for this UPSC Civil Service Exam, kindly go through the UPSC Civil service syllabus. According to the UPSC Civil Service Exam Pattern, the prelims exam sectioned as 2 papers will be conducted for 400 marks containing 180 questions in the duration of 4 hours. UPSC Civil Service syllabus framed for those two paper as General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Test. The purpose of the preliminary test is to only select candidates for the succeeding phases of the exam. The final rank list will not be calculated using the preliminary score.

- Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development,
- Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.
- General issues on Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity, and Climate
- Change – that do not require subject specialisation.
