ARCI Recruitment 2023: International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) has officially released the notice ARCI/HRD/FELLOWSHIPS/1/2023 for hiring outstanding Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow. Applicant who had finished B.E./ B.Tech./ M.E./ M.Tech/ PhD can apply through ARCI career portal. There are 18 Vacancies were allotted for ARCI Recruitment. Application submission deadline is March 13, 2023. Entrants who enroll in their last year or semester of a doctoral program in science, engineering, or a related field who anticipate receiving their degrees by May or June 2023 are also eligible to apply. However, this age limit may change depending on the responsibilities of ARCI recruitment. According to the ARCI notification, the salary will be INR 54000 and house rental allowances will be provided. The selection procedure will include a written examination and an interview. Application Fee will be charged as INR 500 for General and OBC and INR 200 for SC /ST /EWS.

Eligibility criteria for Research Associate and Fellow

Age Limit

• Junior Research Fellow: Should be Under 28 years
• Senior Research Fellow:  32 years old

Age relaxation has been initiated as per Rule of Indian Government.

• OBC: 3 years
• SC / ST: 5 years

Essential Qualification

• Research Associate: Ph.D or M.E. or M.Tech. with at least one research publication published in a journal that is indexed by the Science Citation Index (SCI) with 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience.
• SRF and JRF: B.E./ B.Tech./ M.E./ M.Tech/ M.Sc. or equivalent in metalworking, materials science, or metallurgy Engineering Chemical engineering and ceramics Automotive Engineering Using nanotechnology.

Selection Process

• SRF and JRF: For candidates with a current GATE/NET score card, the selection procedure will be based on a personal interview. Without GATE/NET, candidates will be chosen based on merit in a competitive written exam that will be conducted by ARCI. Shortlisted candidate will be allowed for Interview.
• Research associate: Shortlisted as the basis of Experience, Research, Academic Performance and Interview.

Application Fee 

• 500 INR For General and OBC.
• 200 INR for SC/ ST an EWS.
• No Application fee for Women and PwD Candidates.
