Saksham Scholarship 2024: AICTE-Saksham Scholarship Scheme 2024: AICTE-Saksham Scholarship Scheme is a scholarship scheme of the Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India to encourage students with disabilities to pursue technical education as higher education. AICTE-Saksham Scholarship Scheme is a special scholarship scheme for disabled students pursuing first year technical degree/diploma courses in AICTE-recognised educational institutions.

The Saksham Scholarship Scheme was launched by AICTE to encourage and support specially-abled children to pursue technical education. ₹50,000 per annum will be awarded to the students selected among the students who have applied for the AICTE-Saksham Scholarship Scheme till the completion of their studies. AICTE-Saksham provides an opportunity for every talented young student to acquire technical education/knowledge through a scholarship scheme.

50,000 per year for 4 years and 2,00,000 for 4 years as a total amount for payment of college fees, purchase of computers and stationery items for students selected in this scheme. The scholarship is given to them every year until they complete their education. Eligibility AICTE-Saksham Scholarship

• Students with special abilities must be eligible for the first year of a technical degree or the second year of a degree course by admission to any AICTE-recognised institution in the current academic year.

• Not less than 40% of specially-abled students are disabled.

• Students with special abilities whose family income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh per annum in the current financial year. Valid income certificate issued by State.

Document Required For AICTE-Saksham Scholarship 2024

• Aadhaar Card
• SSLC/10th certificate mark sheet,
• HSC/12th certificate mark sheet,
• Copy of ITI certificate mark sheet. (In case of Lateral Entry for Diploma level).
• Copy of Diploma certificate mark sheet. (In case of Lateral Entry for Degree level).
• Category Certificate.
• Bonafide Certificate (Appendix-I).
• Annual Family Income Certificate (Appendix-II).
• Promotion Certificate in case of renewal (Appendix III).

How to apply AICTE-Saksham Scholarship

Step 1: Go to the official website of AICTE-Saksham Scholarship @ scholarships.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button and fill the required registration details.

Step 3: Once the registration is completed, your application id & password will be sent to your mobile number and email address.

Step 4: Back to page ‘Click on “Login to Apply”. Enter your Application ID and password.

Step 5: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on ‘Continue’ button.

Step 6: Fill the required details and click on ‘Save & Register’ to complete the registration process.

Step 7: Now click on ‘New Application’ tab and login using Application ID and Password.

Step 8: Fill the required details, upload the required documents and submit the application.

Step 9: On the left pane, click “Application Form”. The fields marked as * are compulsory. Fill the details and upload the documents.
