SVMCM Scholarship 2024: Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, also known as Bikash Baban Scholarship, is given as a monthly stipend to minority students from class 11 to their higher education to improve the educational standards of minority students in West Bengal. This SVMCM Scholarship is awarded to deserving students from eleventh standard to Post Graduate in regular courses including Degree to Diploma (Polytechnic/Pharm.) for minority students. SVMCM Scholarship, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is a scheme announced by the Government of West Bengal for minority students. This SVMCM scholarship helps deserving students pursuing higher education through this scheme to pursue their higher education without difficulty.
This Swami Vivekananda Merit Come Means Scholarship Scheme/ Swami Vivekananda Scholarship (SVMCM), also known as Bikash Bhawan Scholarship, is a scholarship for meritorious and economically disadvantaged students of West Bengal studying at higher level, undergraduate level, postgraduate level and above.
The SVMCM scholarship is offered to encourage students of all disciplines pursuing higher education. That means SVMCM scholarship helps economically backward students to secure their education from their schooling from class 11 to higher education in arts, science, commerce, engineering, medicine and other professional courses.
Swami Vivekananda Merit Come Means Scholarship Eligibility
- The applicant should be a resident of West Bengal.
- Candidate must have secured 75% marks in 11th or higher Madhyamik Pariksha.
- To apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for Post Graduate Level, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 53% marks in General Education.
- To apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for Post Graduate Level, the candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in Engineering.
- For the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for Diploma students, the student should have secured 75% marks in the first year diploma.
- The annual family income of students should not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
