UPSC IFS Admit Card 2019: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has uploaded their IFS Main Exam Time Table now on the official website @ upsc.gov.in. As per the UPSC Civil Service Examination 2019 notification, they are going to conduct the IFS Main Exam from 01.12.2019 to 08.12.2019. UPSC has officially released an IFS admit card 2019 for main examination by 7.11.2019. The Main Examination will be held on the following Centres such as Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Shimla, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Port Blair, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Nagpur. Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination is for the selection of candidates for the number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 90.

Already, UPSC had invited applications of Civil Services Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination. Candidates who will be declared by the Commission to have qualified for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination will have to apply again and submit on-line Detailed Application Form-I [DAF-I] before the commencement of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available in the UPSC website [www.upsconline.nic.in] for downloading by candidates. The Main Examination will consist of written examination and an interview test. The written examination will consist of 6 papers of conventional essay type.

UPSC IFS Civil Service (DAF II) Exam Pattern:

Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. The written examination consisting of the following papers such as

• Paper I, II (300 marks of each)
• Papers III, IV, V and VI (Any two subjects to be selected from the list of the optional subjects, Each subject will have two papers) (200 marks for each paper)

The interview will carry 300 marks (with no minimum qualifying marks). The object of the Interview is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for the Service.

Indian Forest Service -IFS Exam Question Pattern:

• Exam Scheme: Written Examination
• Exam Type: Conventional Essay
• Duration: 3 hours (for each papers).
• Total Marks: 300 Marks (for each Paper I & II) & 200 marks (for each other papers).
• Question Paper: All the question papers for the examination will be of conventional (essay) type.
• Mark Deduction: Deduction will be made from the total marks, only when a candidate’s handwriting is not easily legible.

Steps to Download UPSC IFS Main Exam Hall Ticket 2019:

• Go to the UPSC official website “https://upsc.gov.in”
• Choose “Examination” from menu bar & select “Active Examination” from the dropdown.
• Scroll down to find “Indian Forest Services (Main) Examination, 2019” and click on it.
• Select “TT-IFSM-2019-Engl.pdf” to view the IFS main exam date & time schedule.
• Go back to home page & choose “Admit Card” from the side menu list.
• Again select “E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC”.
• Wait until UPSC IFS admit card to be uploaded officially.
• Once the admit card has been published, login with UPSC credential details.
• Then you’re IFS main exam admit card will display on the screen.
