As per TNTET notifications, applications are invited from eligible candidates through online mode. Notification for Teachers Eligibility Test has been released on 07.03.2022. Eligible candidates may start apply from 14.03.2022 in the TRB official website. Candidates are advised to apply on or before the last date 26.04.2022 (Date Extended) . Teachers Recruitment Board is planning to conduct examination on Paper-I & Paper-II. Hall Ticket will be issued for the Eligible candidates through TRB website. Examination Date & Time will be mentioned in the Hall ticket itself. Result will be published in the Teachers Recruitment Board Website. Examination date will be notified soon. Candidates can get syllabus, examination pattern & other information in the TNTET notification. Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test Notification has been uploaded in www.trb.tn.nic.in. Mode of examination will be notified soon & examination centres will be at all the districts of Tamil Nadu. Candidates should apply for both papers separately.

Eligibility Criteria for Teachers Eligibility Test

Educational Qualification for Paper-I

• Higher Secondary & passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary education/ Education (Special Education)/ B.EI.Ed.
• Graduation & passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / final year of B.Ed.

Qualification Required for Paper-II

• Graduation & passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary Education/ final year of B.Ed/ final year of B.Ed.(Special Education).
• Higher secondary & passed or appearing in final year of B.EI.Ed/ final year of 4 year B.A/ B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
• Refer notification for minimum marks required in HSC or its equivalent for both papers.

Age Limit

• Minimum age limit for appearing TET is 18 years.
• No upper age limit for all the candidates.

Selection process

• Candidates should score 60 % and above in both Paper-I & Paper-II examination.

• Applications through online mode will be accepted.

Examination Fee

• Rs.250 for SC, SCA, ST & PwD candidates.
• Rs.500 for all other candidates.

Payment Mode

• Online Payment through Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit card.
